EU Innovation Hub Annual Event report 2024

This report looks back at the 2024 Annual Event for the EU Innovation Hub for Internal Security.

The event gathered internal security practitioners from EU Member States, representatives from EU institutions and agencies, research and technology organizations, academic experts in the field of security, industry representatives and NGOs.

The Hub annual event was organised in cooperation with the Commission’s Community of European Research and Innovation for Security (CERIS).

The central theme of the event, "Shaping responsible solutions for internal security", emphasized the need to develop effective innovative security solutions fostering internal security that at the same time align with citizens' expectations for privacy, transparency, and accountability.
