If you are applying for a Seconded National Expert post you must submit the application form (Application form for Seconded National Experts) by means of email via your Europol National Unit (find the ENU contact information) and, if necessary, the Liaison Bureau.

The application form must be accompanied by a letter from the sending authority to the Executive Director of Europol expressing willingness to second the candidate.

Getting started: the application form

Once you have seen a job you would like to apply for, the first step is to complete the application form in English. 

Please note that applications must be filled in electronically, then printed and signed. Handwritten applications are not accepted.

Make sure to provide all the information required. Incomplete forms are not accepted. 

Sending in your application

For a Seconded National Expert post, applications must be submitted electronically via the Europol National Unit (ENU), and, if necessary, the Liaison Bureau, accompanied by the ENU confirmation and the above-mentioned letter that the competent authority supports your application. 

Make sure you meet the deadline

Europol must receive your application no later than the deadline indicated on the vacancy note. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
