Europol's Intellectual Property Crime Coordinated Coalition (IPC3) is pleased to announce the 2024 Europol Intellectual Property (IP) Crime Conference, organised in partnership with European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and Guardia Civil.
The Intellectual Property (IP) Crime Conference will be held on 24-25 October 2024 in Salón de Actos "Tomás Alvira", ASOCIACIÓN PRO HUÉRFANOS DE LA GUARDIA CIVIL, Madrid, Spain.
The theme of the Conference will be “Follow the Money to Fight IP Crime’’. The Conference will gather experts from Law Enforcement, the Private Sector, EU Agencies, International Organisations, and Academia to discuss experiences, best practices, opportunities, and challenges in the fight against IP Crime.
The conference programme is as follows:
- Day 1 (Thursday, October 24th): A full-day conference focused on the Enablers and Consequences on IP Crime, the Financial Investigations to Fight IP Crime, Asset Recovery on IP Crime, the Impact of IP Crime on Public Health and Environment, and the US Perspective on Financial Crime and IP Crime;
- Day 2 (Friday, October 25th): A half-day conference dedicated to the Role of Social Media Influencers on Counterfeiting Purchasing, and Enhancing Capacity in Financial Investigations to Fight IP Crime.
