Europol is proud to host a press conference at which we will announce the results of a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on match-fixing in football.
Details will be revealed concerning a number of suspicious matches investigated, which includes top international games. Modus operandi and examples of the large sums of money involved in this worldwide criminal business will also be provided.
The results of the investigation will be presented by representatives from Europol, Finland, Germany, Hungary and Slovenia. Representatives will also be present from Eurojust and Interpol.
