Europol is delighted to launch its annual Photo Competition for the best law enforcement photographs. Closing date for entries: 1 September 2011.
This international photo competition, now in its third year, recognises outstanding photography in the challenging and rewarding work of police and law enforcement agencies. Previous year's entries have depicted a wide range of subjects, from laboratory and counter terrorism work through to real police operations.
Entries are welcome from amateur and professional photographers working for law enforcement agencies, or magazines, in EU countries or those countries with Europol Agreements.
Three winning photographers will be invited to visit The Hague and Europol, to attend an award presentation. Other outstanding entries will be selected for use in Europol's 2012 calendars and other publications.
Closing dates for entries is 1 September 2011. Full details and entry forms can be downloaded below in all EU languages (competition is now closed).
