Europol launches a third Call for Proposals to further support EMPACT actions

On 20 September 2016 Europol published a third Call for Proposals to fund EMPACT actions within the 2016 framework. This is a call restricted to EMPACT participants designed to support the 2016 Operational Action Plans approved by the Committee on Internal Security of the European Union in Council Decisions, within the 2014-17 EU policy cycle for organised and serious international crime. The funding originates from the ISF-Police component of the EU Internal Security Fund and Europol has been entrusted with its implementation in a Delegation Agreement signed with DG HOME on 22 December 2014, subsequently amended on 4 April 2016. The call aims at allocating funds not spent so far and is designed to support those activities that have not been subject to funding under the previous call.
