Europol connected to the Schengen Information System (SIS II)

On 10 December Europol went live with its access to SIS II. This development will increase the quality of support provided by Europol to the EU Member States.

Excellent inter-agency cooperation with eu-LISA and Eurojust significantly contributed to the successful realisation of the SIS II project.
