Europol condemns attack in Nice

Europol condemns the heinous attack carried out yesterday in Nice and extends its deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. Europol’s European Counter Terrorism Centre has offered its full assistance to the French authorities in the investigation of the incident.

Rob Wainwright, Director of Europol, said: "This attack is yet another reminder of the active terrorist threat we face in Europe. Europol stands in full solidarity with the citizens of France, as it does with all victims of terrorism, and has made available to the French authorities the full operational capabilities of the European Counter Terrorism Centre."
