SPACE relies on the well-established Europol Platform for Experts (EPE) to provide its services. EPE is a secure web platform for specialists from a variety of law enforcement areas, private industry and academia, which allows them to share, within their respective community, knowledge, best practices and non-personal data on crime.
SPACE stands for Secure Platform for Accredited Cybercrime Experts and it is a specific site within the EPE, created to bring together cybercrime experts from around the world.
SPACE is divided into two parts: a common area visible and available for all accredited SPACE users and a number of closed sub-communities, restricted to members only.
