The Consolidated Annual Activity Report (CAAR) 2022 covers the period from 1 January to 31 December 2022 and presents the progress made to achieve the objectives deriving from the Europol’s 2020+ Strategy and the 2022 Annual Work Programme. An overview of the budget implementation and human resources management, audit and risk management activities and the efficiency and effectiveness of Europol’s Internal Control System is also included in this report.
The CAAR 2022 was prepared following the EU Commission’s guidelines and it was submitted on behalf of the Executive Director of Europol to the Management Board for adoption, in accordance with article 16 (5)(g) of the Europol Regulation and article 48 of the Financial Regulation applicable to Europol.
According to article 11 (1)(c) of the Europol Regulation, this report was adopted by the Management Board on 7 June 2022 and submitted to the European Parliament, the Council, the Commission, the Court of Auditors and the national parliaments by 1 July 2023.
