Europol's Intellectual Property Crime Coordinated Coalition (IPC3) is pleased to announce the 2023 Europol Intellectual Property (IP) Crime Conference, organised in partnership with European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the Portuguese Economic and Food Safety Authority (ASAE), and Portuguese Polícia de Segurança Pública (PSP).

It will be held on 26-27 October 2023 in at the Ramada by Wyndham Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal.

The upcoming conference is centred around the theme of addressing counterfeit goods that pose significant risks to health, safety, and the environment. A specific focus will be placed on the role of advanced technology in combating Intellectual Property (IP) Crime. This event provides attendees with the unique opportunity to engage in discussions and knowledge-sharing with experts from law enforcement and the private sector, facilitating the exchange of experiences and best practices. Additionally, it offers a platform to establish new collaborative initiatives in the fight against counterfeiting.

The conference programme is as follows:

  • Day 1 (Thursday, October 26th): A full-day conference focused on the enforcement of Intellectual Property (IP) rights concerning counterfeit goods that have adverse effects on health, safety, and the environment.
  • Day 2 (Friday, October 27th): A half-day conference dedicated to the enforcement of Intellectual Property (IP) rights, specifically in the context of advanced technology and IP Crime.

 This event offers the opportunity to engage in essential discussions and collaborative efforts aimed at addressing critical issues in the field.
