Hybrid - Europol HQ and online
The Forensic Experts Forum brings together all relevant players within law enforcement, Forensic Institutes, projects and academia to exchange knowledge, expertise and experience, but also to identify new trends, developments and best practices in digital forensics.
FEF 2023 will be a two-day hybrid conference. It will take place at Europol’s Headquarters in the Hague and online from the 14-15 September 2023. The conference is open to audience from LE and there is no admission fee for participation. Registration information will be announced in due time.
We are inviting contributions in the form of research, demos and workshops for the following topic areas:
- Emerging Technologies,
- Li-Fi, LoRa and network slicing analysis techniques,
- Automation – IoT forensics,
- Vehicle forensics,
- Artificial intelligence application in digital forensics,
- Mobile and embedded devices,
- Digital forensics,
- Anti-forensics,
- Data recovery and reconstruction,
- Tool development and testing,
- Encryption/decryption,
- Forensic procedures and best practice.
The above list is suggestive. We welcome new, original ideas from people in academia, industry, government, and law enforcement who are interested in sharing their research, knowledge, and experience.
Proposals can be submitted via email to FEF@europol.europa.eu with the form below. Submissions will undergo a review by Europol’s Digital Forensic Lab to select proposals of maximal interest.
The deadline to submit proposals is 23:59 UTC+1, 30th June 2023. The selected contributors will be informed accordingly before the end of July 2023.
