Europol's Intellectual Property Crime Coordinated Coalition (IPC3) is pleased to announce the 2022 Europol Intellectual Property Crime Conference, organised in partnership with the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC) and Guardia di Finanza.
The Conference will be held on 27-28 October 2022, at the A.Roma Lifestyle Hotel in Rome, Italy.
This 4th in-person edition of the conference will be the first opportunity for experts from law enforcement, the private industry and academia to physically gather to discuss opportunities and challenges in the fight against Intellectual Property (IP) Crime, after two years of online meetings.
Participants will be invited to tackle two main questions across series of discussions and activities: How do we bring down criminal networks that are exploiting times of crisis to infringe IP Rights? How can public-private partnership enhance the fight against IP Crime?
Criminal threats on IP have indeed been emerging in the context of the COVID-19 sanitary crisis, and the security crisis currently faced in Europe following Russia’s military aggression over Ukraine . This conference will offer an opportunity to discuss best practices among law enforcement and the private sector to face growing criminal trends.
