The annual Europol law enforcement photo competition is back, giving talented photographers the chance to showcase their outstanding images and win a trip to Holland!
This international competition invites talented photographers to capture the essence of the challenging and rewarding work of law enforcement personnel. Police, border and customs guards, SWAT teams and more can be portrayed in the images, which can enter in one of four categories:
Making Europe safer • Organized crime • Practice makes perfect • Freestyle.
Three winning photographers will win a trip for two people to Amsterdam or The Hague, with a visit to Europol headquarters. The winning images will also feature in Europol's 2016 calendars.
The competition opens for entries today and will run until 20 July 2015. It is open to professional and amateur photographers working for law enforcement agencies and law enforcement magazines in EU countries and countries with Europol Agreements.
Visit the photo competition webpage to enter the competition, and to download full details and application packs in different EU languages.
